With a background as an HR Executive, Kendall brings a people-first approach to his work, grounded in empathy, trust, and service. After relocating from Las Vegas four years ago, he has dedicated himself to helping families across the Coachella Valley navigate one of life’s most important decisions—finding the right senior living solution.
 
Supporting Families With Care and Clarity
Assisted Living Locators provides no-cost senior placement services, helping seniors and their families explore options such as in-home care, assisted living communities, board-and-care homes, memory care, and independent living. Kendall works closely with each client to understand their needs and guide them toward the best fit, making what can feel like an overwhelming process more manageable and supportive.
 
We asked Kendall a few questions in order to get to know  him better: 
 
What inspired you to start your business, and what makes it unique in the Coachella Valley?
I wanted to work for myself, do something that helps the community without charging them a fee, and help seniors and families in need.  Especially after family situations where I realized how hard all of this transition can be.
 
How do you support or engage with the LGBTQ+ community and the greater Coachella Valley?
 We are well networked with many organizations, including DBA, The Center, DAP, H+ARP, Mizell, PS Chamber, local hospitals, skilled nursing, and other senior service providers, and we not only help our clients but also serve as connectors in the industry.
 
What advice would you give to someone starting a business today, especially in our region?
In our region, relationships matter more than anything—you grow by showing up for people, being consistent, and doing the right thing even when no one’s watching. The desert moves at its own pace, but if you stay authentic, stay visible, and stay committed to helping others, the community will embrace you.
 
Where do you see your business in the next five years?
I see my business continuing to grow as a trusted, white‑glove resource for families throughout our region. I want to deepen the personal, hands‑on support we’re known for while expanding the ways we serve families. I also see our role in the LGBTQ+ community growing, even by creating a safe, affirming place where every family feels seen, respected, and guided with care.
