WINE FLOOR SALESPERSON

Hyphen is a curated natural wine shop dedicated to small producers, minimal intervention, and wines that actually have something to say. We believe wine should be approachable, exciting, and a little bit fun — and we're looking for someone who shares that philosophy.

The Position:
This is a part-time role, 2–3 shifts per week, with shifts running 4.5 to 5 hours. Pay is $18–$22/hour depending on experience.

What You'll Do:
• Welcome and assist customers on the floor, matching them to wines that fit their taste, occasion, and budget
• Share your knowledge of natural, biodynamic, and low-intervention wines in an accessible, non-intimidating way
• Help maintain an organized, beautiful shop floor and assist with receiving and stocking inventory
• Process sales at the register and assist with special orders
• Stay current on our rotating selection and participate in staff tastings

What We're Looking For:
• Genuine enthusiasm for natural wine — formal credentials are NOT required, but curiosity and passion are a must
• Strong people skills and a warm, welcoming presence
• Availability on weekends and some evenings (our busiest times)
• Previous retail or hospitality experience a plus
• A team-first attitude and willingness to pitch in wherever needed
