More than a restaurant we are an experience. Catalan Mediterranean Restaurant brings forth tastes from Italy, Spain and California. This family owned and operated business has been providing the Desert culinary scene with one of the finest Tapas & Paella experience since 2012. High lofty selling with exposed beams and a central courtyard reminescent of an Italian piazza are some of elements that make for a comprehensive experience of the cuisine.

My name is Cynthia Davis and together with my husband, Chef Drew Davis, we own Catalan Mediterranean Cuisine in Rancho Mirage. I was born and raised in Quito-Ecuador and met my lovely honey in the Hamptons in 2007. Due to a job opportunity we moved to CA and opened Catalan in 2012.
I am officially the Director of Marketing and Administration at the restaurant. But my job will be best described by the things I do not do; cook and bartend. Everything else has my stam on it! When you join us you will find me everywhere, as I do not ask my staff to do anything I wouldn't do myself.
